Blood is categorized into four different types (A, B, AB, and O) based on the type of antigens found on the outside of the red blood cells. Additionally, each type can be negative or positive based on whether or not the cells have an antigen called the Rh factor.

Both are part of the peripheral nervous system. The somatic nervous system sends sensory information to the central nervous system and controls voluntary actions while the autonomic nervous system regulates involuntary activity in the heart, stomach, and intestines.

The carbon cycle represents the ciruit of carbon through Earth's ecosystem. Carbon dioxide (CO₂) in the atmosphere is absorbed by plants through photosynthesis. Plants then die and release carbon back into the atmosphere during decomposition or are eaten by animals who breathe (respiration) the carbon into the atmosphere they exhale and produce waste which also releases carbon as it decays.

Radiation occurs when electromagnetic waves transmit heat. An example is the heat from the Sun as it travels to Earth.

The Fahrenheit scale fixes the freezing point of water at 32°F, the Celsuis scale at 0°C, and the Kelvin scale at 273K.
